Real life is broken glass,
Debt,
Crime,
Disease,
To hell with your stupid human emotions,
Real life has nothing to do with the mess inside your head,
Real life is there regardless,
Torrential rain,
Mechanical failure,
Real life is beyond your control,
When the hurricane blows it’s going to take
The roof off your house,
No matter what sort of mood you’re in.
There’s something strangely comforting about that.
